Welcome to our new members, Mark, Sarah, and Carmela. Jason Long has left the Board after numerous years of service. Thank you, Jason, for all you have done for the Association.
Churchill Falls Christmas Celebration
Join us for a small celebration of the Christmas season. On Saturday, December 17th at 6:00pm we will come together at the empty lot at the Churchill Falls entrance (next to 1 Seattle Slew Lane).
We will light celebration fires in our fire pits, enjoy the night and good conversation, toast marshmallows and relax a little. Bring the kids, a stick to roast marshmallows, your holiday spirit and chairs to relax. Possibly bring your fie pit (if yours is small and portable, we will have several but could use a couple more).
Starter logs, firewood and marshmallows will be provided by the HOA Board.

Update - Sept 2011
We hope 2011 has been a great year for each of you so far. For us on the board, we are happy to have made some great progress with the goals we set forth at the beginning of the year. Hopefully you have noticed some changes. If not, here are just a few.

The entrance waterfall is fixed and running. We contracted a new partner to ensure the waterfall became a failsafe feature for our community and so far, so good.

Entrance beautification. The majority of our efforts were focused on making this look nice once again.

The first step was a rework of our irrigation system to include relocating some heads and ensuring the system worked as programmed. We are utilizing the same partner for irrigation as we are for the waterfall and things are looking good.

With the irrigation where we want it, we went after the turf. After killing off the weeds and invasive grass, we had the area tilled and seeded with bermuda grass to match the other areas. Everything is growing in nicely. Please remember to NOT park on the grass as it may damage both the grass and the sprinkler heads.

Fall flowers have been planted at each side of the entrance. Enjoy the colors!!

The neighborhood yard sale was a great success. Thanks to everyone who participated this year and is helping us get the word out for next year.
We are approaching our Annual Meeting and ask that you make an effort to attend. We love talking with you and hearing your ideas. Look for notice (letter) to your home soon.

Your Board for 2011 has met and outlined some things we wish to tackle this year. Top of the list is beautification. In 2010 we took steps to kill off the grasses at the entrance that had invaded our prevalent bermuda grass. This spring we plan to make sure the invasive grass is gone, aerate, and seed with bermuda to give us a nice lawn ASAP. To make this a success, you will see some work being done on the sprinkler system to make sure it is reliable keep our grass AND plants watered. We are excited about turning the entry to something to be proud of. Keep an eye out for this work once weather allows.

When waiting at the entrance to our neighborhood, please be aware of a couple things. 1. Parking on both sides of the entrance obscures visibility for those entering and exiting the neighborhood. 2. Please do not park on the grass, this will be even more important as we relocate some sprinkler heads and plant grass.
